2007 Annual Scientific Meeting

On September 30, 2007, the CSRG had their first Annual Scientific Meeting in Calgary, Alberta. This was a very important gathering of clinicians, scientists and researchers, as well as students and trainees, all sharing their knowledge and expertise with the goal of improving Scleroderma research in order to better understand and treat this disease. Through such events, the CSRG hopes to increase the capacity of performing collaborative Scleroderma research in Canada.

This event could not have been possible without the speakers who graciously shared their knowledge and expertise with those who attended. Thank you as well to the Scleroderma Society of Canada for permitting us to co-ordinate several activities in conjunction with their Annual General Meeting.

Thank you as well to the CIHR and to all our sponsors for contributing to the success of this event and for acknowledging the importance of such an initiative. We appreciate greatly your financial support.

Mark your calendars because the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting will be held in Ottawa on September 20 and the CSRG administrative meeting, on September 21. You have your invitation, so let's make it a date!
