| About Cure Scleroderma Foundation |

Pierina Nero, a patient who was diagnosed with Scleroderma in 2000, established
the Cure Scleroderma Foundation (CSF) in 2005 in order to raise much
needed funds which will enable the CSRG
to continue with their research into Scleroderma and to promote awareness
about this rare and uncommon disease. Pierina is 48 years old, married, and has
three children. The CSF committee consists of a group of family and friends, as
well as nurses who work with Scleroderma patients. Meetings are held

Past Fundraising EventsThese events helped raise a total of $177,000.00 for the CSRG. In 2005 and 2006 many fundraising events were held, such as:
In November 2008, Annalisa Batista-Ferreira and Amanda Nicholson, organized another fundraising event at the Comedy Works. This event raised a total of $2,000.00. On November 7, 2009, the CSF Fundraising Gala took place at Le Crystal Hall in Ville-St-Laurent. It was a very successful event raising more than $85,000 Fundraising events in 2010 included an evening of laughter at the Comedy Works.
The success of these events would not be possible if not for the generous

to help make a difference to many living with Scleroderma. |
